A dental implant consists of two components: a small titanium screw that mimics the tooth root, and a ceramic prosthetic crown that looks and feels like a natural tooth. The biocompatible screw is placed into the gum so that it can fuse with the jawbone, and the healing process takes between three and six months. Once the gum has healed, you will receive your permanent prosthetic tooth, which can last a lifetime if proper oral hygiene is maintained.

Dental implants can replace a single tooth, multiple missing teeth using a bridge, or even a full set of dentures.

At your first appointment, you will undergo an examination by one of our Dental Implant Specialists. The dental implant process will be explained to you using images and models, and X-rays may be taken if you decide to proceed with the treatment to ensure that your jaw is strong enough to support the implant.

At your next appointment, the original tooth will be extracted if it is still present before the titanium post is placed, and local anesthesia will be administered. If multiple implants are needed, several posts can be placed in a single appointment.

An impression of the mouth is taken to design the ceramic prosthesis, and the final step is to attach the prosthesis to the titanium post. You will be provided with a temporary resin bridge in the case of a full tooth replacement to give the implants time to stabilize.

The entire process takes approximately six to eight months, after which the implant can be cared for just like a natural tooth.

Like an innovative dental implant, All-on-4 and All-on-6 are high-quality implants suitable for patients who are not candidates for traditional dental implants. The All-on-4 and All-on-6 implants can be placed at an angle so that partial or full sets of upper or lower teeth can be attached to the stable implant structure.

Fixed dentures replace natural teeth with permanent and stable prosthetic elements. These include veneers, crowns (artificial substitutes for a single tooth), and bridges (replacements for multiple teeth) that are cemented onto natural supporting pillars (adjacent teeth) and therefore cannot be removed by the patient.

Removable dentures are designed to replace part or the entire dental arch (denture) and can be removed by the patient for regular daily oral hygiene.
